Whether you plan to gowith a MICRO SPLINE setupin future or not, this groupset makes for an easy 1x12s upgrade, today.This groupset’s HG-compatible SunRace12-speed cassettecomes with an11T small cog (vs. 10T for Shimano MICRO SPLINE Cassettes). That is a small trade-off though, andit’s an absolutely stellar choice for those wanting to modernize an older mountain bike, now… without getting new hubs or wheels.

Your rear hub must have aHG-Cbody in order to accept the cassette included in this groupset.
